At Casa del Mar Langkawi, we have put together safety guidelines and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment so that your next stay with us is safe, and the well-being of you and our hosts are protected.

We will be updating this page regularly, following the Malaysian government’s guidelines, when regulatory restrictions are amended.

Temperature Screening

Thermal temperature screening for every guest, host and vendor upon entering hotel

Single Entry/Exit Point

Only one entry and exit point through our main lobby

Direct beach access is only allowed for in-house guests. Entry via beach is not allowed

CONTACT TRACING

Contact tracing as mandated by the Malaysian government required for every entry into hotel via QR code scan

Luggage Sanitisation

Sanitization of guest luggage before it enters the lobby

Social Distancing

Social distancing of at least 1 metre in all areas of hotel

No more than 2 diners per table at restaurant (except for families with proof of living/travelling together)

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

All guests are required to wear a face mask in public areas of hotel

All hosts are required to wear appropriate PPE at all times

Hand Sanitizers

Hand sanitizers will be provided in public areas

Cleaning & Disinfecting

All high-touch surfaces across public and host areas will be cleaned at high frequency at all times

Housekeeping Service

Housekeeping services will operate at reduced frequency but remain available at any time on request and with social distancing protocols.

Room Amenities

Room and bathroom amenities will be provided upon request with social distancing protocols

Buffet Breakfast Service

Self-service buffet will be suspended. Set breakfast will be served

Digital Menus

All printed menus will be replaced by digital menus by scanning of QR code

In-Room Dining

Contactless in-room dining service upon request and offered at the guest room door with social distancing protocols

Other Services

Technical maintenance/assistance for occupied rooms will be provided in the absence of guest in the room
