The Ministry of Tourism & Culture has announced and imposed a Tourism Tax. With effect from 1 September 2017, the Tourism Tax will be officially enforced at a flat rate of RM 10 per room per night.
This will be in addition to the Langkawi State Tourism Fee of RM 3 per room per night which remains unchanged.
This fee will be included in your reservation as an additional line item for stays booked for 1 September 2017 onwards.
